The New York Jets fell behind coach Mike McDaniel's Miami Dolphins by a score of 24-10 entering the third quarter of their Monday night game in Miami before outscoring the Dolphins in the fourth quarter.
The Jets' comeback attempt fell short in a 27-21 loss that dropped coach Aaron Glenn's team to 0-4 on the season, still winless on the 2025-26 NFL season.
Following Monday night's loss, ESPN host Mike Greenberg, who lives in New York City with his wife Stacy, took to X to vent his frustrations about the hometown team and its latest horrid start to an NFL season.
Greenberg uncorked a 200-plus character rant about the Jets on X as he went off about the team's latest prime time failure.
The man known as "Greeny" appeared upset with Glenn after the Jets' latest letdown.
He called the hometown team a "joke" as he went off on a time-sensitive rant.
"You're either coaching it or allowing it to happen," Greenberg said about the Jets' futility and error-plagued game.
New York was hit with 13 penalties in comparison to 6 for McDaniel's team. The Jets' mistakes, including three fumbles to zero for the Dolphins, proved to be their undoing on the road.
"Aaron Glenn has a crisis on his hands four games in," Greenberg continued.
"Team is sloppy, undisciplined, poorly prepared. All the things he insisted would be cleaned up. It's on him to get it fixed, fast. Because right now, they're a joke. #Jets."

The post-game evidence appeared to support Greenberg as a glance at the box score showed where things went south.
Turnovers and penalties obscured the Jets' 404 total yards compared to 300 for the Dolphins as quarterback Justin Fields completed 20-of-27 passes for 200 yards and a touchdown.
Fields also carried seven times for 81 yards and a touchdown as the Jets' supporting cast paved the way for another huge game from the former Ohio State Buckeyes star.
Next up for the Jets is a home game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, October 5 that looks winnable based on Dallas' uneven play in recent weeks.
Glenn isn't likely to find himself on the hot seat anytime soon, but the eyes of one of the world's largest metropolitan areas are upon him.
A non-competitive season will continue to open up conversations about whether or not the Jets chose the best man for the job this offseason.
