The Green Bay Packers are one of, if not the most, historic franchises in the history of the NFL. Therefore, when a player moves up one of their all-time lists, it is something worth noting. This Sunday,  Aaron Jones has the chance to move up the all-time rushing attempts list. That is, he almost certainly will if Matt LaFleur keeps his word about finding ways to get him more touches.

Aaron Jones to pass Paul Hornung on Packers list

The all-time leader in rushing attempts for the Green Bay is Ahman Green with 1,851. Jim Taylor (1,811), John Brockington (1,293), Clark Hinkle (1,171), and Tony Canadeo (1,025) round out the team’s top five in all-time rushing attempts. Dorsey Levens (1,006), Ryan Grant (955), Edgar Bennett (936), Paul Hornung (893), and Aaron Jones (883) round out the top 10.

With 11 carries on Sunday against the Jets, Aaron Jones would move into ninth all-time in Packers rushing attempts.

For those wondering, AJ Dillon currently ranks 40th in Packers history in rushing attempts with 296. The next player he can pass on the all-time list is Willard Harrell, who had 311 rushing attempts for the Packers from 1975-1977.

Aaron Jones has other Milestones he can each this season

In addition to moving up the Packers all-time rushing attempts list, Aaron Jones can also move up the ranks of the all-time rushing yards list and rushing touchdowns list. Currently, Jones needs 472 rushing yards to pass John Brockington for third on the Packers all-time rushing list. Additionally, Jones needs nine rushing touchdowns to pass Paul Hornung for third on the Packers all-time rushing touchdowns list.
