Aaron Rodgers has yet to sign with an NFL team, following a two-year stint with the New York Jets. Rodgers has widely been considered one of the best quarterback's in the NFL over the past several years and arguably one of the best to ever play the position.
While he's on the latter half of his NFL career at 41, Rodgers proved to be a serviceable option last season.
As fans continue to take in empty updates on the Rodgers situation, the former Jets quarterback recently took to social media, reacting to a big move in the college football community.
The California Golden Bears have announced former head coach Jeff Tedford as a 2025 Hall of Fame inductee.
Rodgers reacted to the news out of the Cal Athletics Hall of Fame, posting a goat emoji with a photo of Tedford, which often times refers to someone as the "greatest of all time."
Jeff Tedford served as the head coach of the California Golden Bears from 2002 to 2012. He is Cal's all-time winningest coach with 82 wins during his time with the Golden Bears.
During his time at Cal, Tedford coached Aaron Rodgers, who was with the program from 2003 to 2004.
After playing under Tedford, Rodgers was selected with the No. 24 pick in the first round of the 2005 draft.
Aaron Rodgers has since become a legend in the NFL community. He started his career with the Green Bay Packers, playing 18 years with the NFC team and then made the move to New York.
During his time in the NFL, after learning under Jeff Tedford at the collegiate level, Rodgers won Super Bowl XLV and four MVP awards while being named a four-time first-team All-Pro and 10-time Pro Bowler.
