Let the Aaron Rodgers drama begin.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback wanted the organization to select a player who could help him on offense in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, but instead they drafted their quarterback of the future in Jordan Love.
Green Bay likely won't win another championship in 2020, as they'll have to carve their way through the difficult NFC, meaning Rodgers was less than pleased with the selection of Love.

“General reaction at first was surprise, like many people. Not going to say I was thrilled by the pick.” But, he says the organization is thinking about the future, and understands that.
There's always the option that Rodgers requests a trade, but Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst is prepared to roll with the 36-year-old until Love is good and ready.
That means Love will likely be groomed under Rodgers, just as he was under Brett Favre, but the longtime Packers QB may not exactly be willing to show the youngster the ropes.
However, he told reporters Friday that he's excited to work with the Utah State product. Is it just for show? Or will Rodgers actually work with Love and help him find his way in the NFL?
Obviously it's not Love's fault that he was selected by the Packers, and Rodgers understands that.
Aaron Rodgers says many of his former backup quaterbacks are good friends.

On Jordan Love:
“He’s not to blame at all."
“I’m excited to work with him. He seems like a good kid."
It's not an ideal situation for Rodgers, but if he wants out then a few teams may be checking in on him. The New England Patriots specifically come to mind as they could be in need of a QB if Jarrett Stidham doesn't pan out, but we'll just have to wait and see on that front.
If Green Bay truly believes Love will be Rodgers' heir, they're going to need Rodgers fully on board with grooming him.
