When Aaron Rodgers was traded from the Green Bay Packers to the New York Jets, many believed the move would immediately make the Jets Super Bowl contenders.
Unfortunately, in 2023, he suffered an Achilles injury during Week 1 that would sideline him the whole season, but New York still put together a respectable 7-10 record with Zach Wilson at quarterback.
With Rodgers back in 2024, though, things were supposed to turn around, but they've only gotten worse, and the Jets are 4-12.
Now that rumors are swirling about major roster and personnel changes, Rodgers could be wrapping up his time in New York, and he was asked to explain his feelings about the past two seasons.
"I mean gratitude honestly," he said. "It's been the best two years of my life, and that's a perspective adjustment that happened at some point during the rehab process last year."

It's hard to imagine that any Jets fan can agree with that because, in these past two seasons, he's completed 345-of-549 passes for 3,623 yards, 24 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, and an 89.1 passer rating.
Of course, all of that comes from 2024, other than one incomplete pass in 2023, but considering he's a four-time MVP, All-Pro, and 10-time Pro Bowler, that's nowhere near his best.
Between the drama surrounding him and his lack of success, it could be difficult to find any positives in the trade by the time Rodgers leaves New York.
