Aaron Rodgers shared awesome moment with his doppelganger

An Aaron Rodgers superfan got exact moment he was dreaming of Monday during the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Wild Card game at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pa.

A Steelers fan dressed up in full Rodgers garb for the team’s playoff game against the Houston Texans and stood near the playing field as the players warmed up. The fan had everything: the uniform, helmet, cleats, and hand warmers. He even rocked a wrist brace on the same left hand that Rodgers had suffered an injury on earlier this season.

The four-time MVP couldn’t help but smile once he spotted the fan. Rodgers came over to dap the fan up and give him a long hug. Rodgers then spoke to him for a few minutes in a moment the fan won’t be forgetting anytime soon.

Rodgers, however, couldn’t reward his doppelganger’s dedication with a win. The Steelers saw their season come to an end Monday in a 30-6 drubbing. Rodgers went 17/33 for 146 yards and an interception in the contest.

While Rodgers was responsible for a good chunk of his team’s offensive struggles, his Steelers teammates didn’t do him any favors with some untimely mistakes of their own. The frustration was written all over Rodgers’ face when DK Metcalf dropped a wide-open pass in the first quarter — a sign of things to come.
