Aaron Rodgers shares moment with parents after extended estrangement

Rodgers openly admitted he had a strained relationship with his immediate family during his “Enigma” Netflix documentary. The legendary quarterback admitted he wasn’t happy with a number of things involving his mother, father and brother. The latter Rodgers once accused of trying to benefit off his popularity. Especially by appearing as a contestant on the ABC series “The Bachelorette.”

Reports were Rodgers and his family had their falling out amid his past relationship with actress Olivia Munn. However, Munn refuted the claim in a 2024 interview with People Magazine. She stated Rodgers hadn’t spoken to his family during the time he and Munn were a couple.

But now it appears Rodgers is making amends with his parents and brother after all these years. Rodgers’ parents still reside in his native home city of Chico, California.

Father Ed Rodgers is a former player himself, who played his college football for the now defunct Chico State Wildcats from 1973 to 1976. The father is a longtime chiropractor who also is a native of Texas.

Rodgers’ final season involves him playing for his former Green Bay Packers coach. Even former NFL wide receiver turned analyst Steve Smith Sr. believes Rodgers’ 2026 Steelers wide receivers look like the ones from his Packers run.
