ESPN’s Adam Schefter indicated that major news will come out of Philadelphia soon, but he wouldn’t elaborate any further.
The Philadelphia Eagles have already made one notable change on their coaching staff, removing Kevin Patullo from his role as the offensive coordinator. The NFC East champions have yet to pick their next OC.
As ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter was concluding his appearance on 97.5 The Fanatic, he was told that they’d potentially discuss the Eagles’ new OC hire next week. That’s where Schefter indicated that more news could be on the horizon.
“And maybe it’ll be even more than that by next week,” Schefter said.
When the possibility of an AJ Brown trade was raised, Schefter remained mysterious.
“Maybe it’ll be even more than a discussion in an offensive coordinator,” Schefter added. “We’ll see.”

Throughout the regular season, there were numerous reports about Brown becoming a problem in the Eagles’ locker room. His name was frequently mentioned in trade rumors, but the Eagles held on to him for their Super Bowl defense.
