Bengals

Bengals HC Zac Taylor said DE Shemar Stewart is making progress, adding that the defensive line group is deep enough to hold strong without the young pass rusher.

“It’s a really deep D-line group, and it’s really tough to choose who’s gonna be inactive there,” Taylor said, via ProFootballTalk. “Keep encouraging him because he’s doing everything the right way and he’s really making the progress we’re hoping to see. I don’t want to do that every week, but we’re gonna have to be creative with where we pull from. That’s just part of it.”

Browns

The Browns re-signed veteran DT Maliek Collins to a two-year extension, with GM Andrew Berry noting how valuable Collins has been since joining the team and bringing veteran presence to the defensive line.

“Since we signed Maliek in the 2025 offseason, he has been a disruptive player in the middle of our defense and one of the top interior pass rushers in football,” Berry said, via ProFootballTalk. “His non-stop motor, selflessness and endless pass rush arsenal make him a perfect fit for our attack-style defense. As much as he has contributed to our defensive success on the field, the things he does behind the scenes are just as impactful. For the past two years, Maliek has been THE veteran, stabilizing presence in the meeting rooms, on the practice field and in the facility. His impact on our young defensive line’s growth can’t be overstated. We’re excited to keep Maliek in Cleveland for several more years.”

Ravens

  • Ravens HC Jesse Minter said there are moments when “we need a little bit more” from the leaders, especially when the momentum turns in games: “We have guys that care and want to do it right, but there’s also moments in the game where it’s like, ‘Who’s the guy that’s going to grab everybody together [and] get them together on the sideline? I think as a team, we’re working through who that is. Who is that person? Who are those players? There’s guys that want to do it, and then there’s guys that maybe they’re dealing with something or they’re not playing the way they want to play, so they don’t feel like they can do it in those moments. To me, again, it’s like if you’re kind of a known leader, sometimes you have to even erase how you’re playing if you feel like you can collectively get everybody out of a funk or whatever it might be in at the time.” (Jamison Hensley)
