AFC team betting favorite to land Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Rodgers Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Where will Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers play football in 2023 — and will Rodgers even play football?

These are two of the biggest questions of the offseason with free agency a month away. While Rodgers was on his weekly segment of "The Pat McAfee Show," he gave plenty of interesting comments but admitted no decision has been made on his future.

Reports surfaced recently of the New York Jets expressing their desire to land Rodgers, and that makes sense given their never-ending quarterback turmoil. When the Jets hired Nathaniel Hackett as offensive coordinator, this move appeared to be even more evident.

Well, the Jets are the new favorites to land Rodgers, per the SportsBetting.ag sportsbook. Rodgers is first on the list of potential Jets quarterbacks at +125. Second on the list is Lamar Jackson at +400.

With all that going on, Raiders WR and Rodgers’ former teammate Davante Adams answered a ton of questions on Twitter on Wednesday night, sparking even more rumors that Rodgers could reunite with Adams in Las Vegas.

Nonetheless, the Rodgers sweepstakes will be fun to monitor. As for the Jets, head coach Robert Saleh admitted in a press conference that they want to find a veteran.

Sam Darnold was a flop, and Zach Wilson was a major disappointment. Rodgers makes sense by all means (same for the Raiders). Right now, the Jets are the betting favorite to bring in No. 12, and only time will tell where — or if — Rodgers throws a pass in the 2023 season.
