AJ Brown Makes Feelings on Jalen Hurts Clear After TD Against Steelers

Philadelphia Eagles stars AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts have seemingly squashed their beef.

Despite the Eagles 11-2 record, the tension between Brown and Hurts became a storyline this week, thanks partly to teammate Brandon Graham's comments.

"I don't know the whole story, but I know that 1 (Hurts) is trying. 11 (Brown) could be a little better with how he responds to things. They were friends, but things have changed," Graham said on SportsRadio WIP. "And I understand that because life happens. But (on) the business side, we got to make sure we don't let the personal get in the way of the business."

Hurts made a concerted effort to get Brown the ball early and often against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He connected with Brown four times in the first quarter, including three times on the Eagles' first scoring drive. The Eagles took the lead after Hurts found Brown on a 5-yard strike in the back of the end zone.

After scoring, Brown immediately found Hurts, and the two executed a touchdown dance together and exchanged a hug.

According to Jay Glazer of Fox, the Eagles' star duo also addressed their relationship in the locker room prior to the game.

"They nipped it in the bud real quick," Glazer said. "They're in a team meeting, AJ and Jalen got up, dapped each other up said, 'We're good. I want to make sure everyone knows we're good.' Brandon Graham then got up and he apologized to the entire team collectively, but he also went off and apologized individually saying, 'Man I'm really sorry that I was a distraction this week.'"

The Eagles are in a great spot to take the NFC East and make a playoff run. Keeping their two offensive stars in sync will be key to making it happen.
