After spending his entire career with the Bengals, veteran receiver A.J. Green is getting a new start in Arizona after signing a one-year deal with the Cardinals. In his introductory press conference, Green insisted he still has "a lot left in the tank," and he is ready to show off what he can do with his new team.
"I still feel young," Green said. "Legs feel young. ... I think I have lot of years left playing at a high level."
Green is coming off the worst season of his NFL career. He barely crossed 500 yards receiving and had only two touchdowns in his final season with the Bengals. Now, the 32-year-old will have a chance to get his career back on track in Arizona, where he joins a potent pass attack that includes quarterback Kyler Murray and fellow WR DeAndre Hopkins.
However, Green says that he is less focused on stats and more focused on helping the Cardinals win in the postseason, something that he never did in Cincinnati.
"I think that's the main goal, with winning a championship," Green said. "For me, I've been in Cincinnati 10 years. So, for me, to go somewhere to where the organization is ready to win now, it's unbelievable."
