Allegiant wins Pollstar Stadium of the Year award for 2026

Allegiant Stadium just got crowned again, and the timing feels very Las Vegas. The building that sells itself as a global stage now has the industry hardware to match.

Pollstar named Allegiant the 2026 “Stadium of the Year” (U.S. only) at the 37th annual Pollstar Awards, a peer-voted honor in live entertainment. It finished ahead of Fenway Park, MetLife Stadium, Nissan Stadium, SoFi Stadium and Soldier Field.

“World-class experiences,” from the top

“This award is a testament to the dedication of our team and partners, and to the fans and guests who make this venue so special,” Raiders president Sandra Douglass Morgan said in a statement.

She pointed to Mark Davis’ vision for a venue built around fan experience. That includes faster entry, heavy production muscle and the tech that keeps big nights moving.

Hollywood ceremony, real industry weight

Pollstar handed out the awards April 15 at the Loews Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles. iHeartRadio personality Valentine hosted the show as part of Pollstar Live!, the industry’s three-day gathering of promoters, agents and venue leaders.

Pollstar also added a new fan-voted category this year. The inaugural iHeartRadio Pollstar Fan Favorite Award for Live Performer of the Year went to country star Morgan Wallen.

The weekend receipts: WWE’s two-night takeover

Vegas fans did not need a trophy to tell them Allegiant is a magnet. Still, the weekend numbers backed it up.

WWE’s WrestleMania 42 drew announced crowds of 50,816 for Night 1 and 55,255 for Night 2 at Allegiant. That is 106,072 across two nights, and it felt like it. Fans poured in from the Strip, then packed the concourses with jerseys and title belts.

Vegas impact, not just Vegas buzz

Those crowds also drive the bigger story. In the Raiders’ 2025 impact report, released in January, the team said 62% of visitors came to Las Vegas specifically for a live sporting, music or entertainment event at Allegiant Stadium. The report estimated $1.1 billion in economic impact.

A booking machine with a loaded runway

The Pollstar honor caps a stretch that has made Allegiant a year-round booking monster. In 2025, the venue hosted WrestleMania 41, major concerts and marquee fight nights. It also stays busy as the home of the Raiders and UNLV football.

And the runway only gets bigger. Allegiant will host the 2027 College Football Playoff national championship. Then it will host Super Bowl LXIII in 2028. So yes, the award matters. More importantly, it fits what Vegas keeps proving: the biggest events come here because this building can handle the volume.
