Allen Robinson announces retirement after 11 NFL seasons

Robinson was drafted in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars after playing his college ball at Penn State. His breakout season came in his second campaign in 2015. That year, he brought in 80 receptions for 1,400 yards with 14 touchdowns, leading the league in touchdown receptions. He was named a Pro Bowler that season. In 2017, he tore his ACL in the first game of the season and did not play for the Jaguars again.

Robinson signed with the Chicago Bears ahead of the 2018 season and played five seasons in Chicago, including back-to-back years of over 1,110 yards. He would then sign as a free agent with the Los Angeles Rams ahead of the 2022 season, before being traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers for 2023. After being released by the Steelers, he signed with the New York Giants, but was cut prior to the season. Robinson then signed on with the Detroit Lions, initially on the practice squad, before being elevated to the main roster.

He finishes his career with 565 receptions for 7,058 yards and 43 touchdowns.
