The Detroit Lions shocked the NFL world on Monday Night Football earlier this week, beating the odds and making prognosticators look foolish with a 38-30 win over the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

The Lions' victory included a breakout performance from 28-year-old running back David Montgomery, the former Iowa State Cyclones star who led the Lions in rushing.

Montgomery reeled off several highlight reel runs and showcased his speed en route to a 12-carry, 151 yard, two-touchdown performance that had Lions fans howling with delight.

On Wednesday, Montgomery joined brothers Amon-Ra and Equanimeous St. Brown to discuss the Ravens game, which made the Lions' St. Brown brother share his unfiltered thoughts on the NFL's most underrated player, who also happens to be his teammate.

St. Brown Makes His Choice

St. Brown held a spirited discussion with his co-host and Lions guest

When it came time to pick the NFL's most underrated player, he chose Montgomery.

"I just want to say thank you to D-Mo for being on (the podcast), I appreciate you for being on today," Equanimeous St. Brown said on the episode of the St. Brown Podcast.

"We appreciate you bro, love you bro," Amon-Ra St. Brown said before razzing Montgomery for allegedly being 30 minutes late.

"Thank you D-Mo, you're a (expletive) animal," Amon-Ra St. Brown added, "Most underrated player in the league, I'm telling you, you heard it from me first.

"The man's a dog, he's not a power back, he does it all, in space, whatever you want to do, he can catch it, out the backfield," he concluded.

Lions Take on Browns Sunday

The Lions will take on the Browns next at Ford Field this coming Sunday with positioning on the line in a tightly packed NFC North.

Coach Dan Campbell's team now has a certified two-headed monster on its hands with Montgomery matching and surpassing superstar Jahmyr Gibbs during Monday Night's game against elite opposition.

The Lions may find tough sledding against the Browns' physical defense, but Campbell's squad has the pieces up front to face Myles Garrett and company head on.

St. Brown and Montgomery will once again play majors roles in Detroit's offensive attack.

The Lions hold all of the edges necessary to get a win on paper; soon the preparation begins for what could be one of the most unexpectedly close games of the NFL's fourth week.
