Punter Matt Haack is back with the Buffalo Bills as roster insurance for the injured Sam Martin.

Haack signed to the Bills' practice squad on Wednesday and could be needed when Buffalo hosts the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional playoffs on Sunday night.

Martin injured his hamstring attempting to run down a blocked field goal on Monday in the second quarter of the wild-card win over the Steelers.

He returned to the game after going to the medical tent for evaluation, and his lone punt after that went 45 yards.

Haack, a left-footed punter also experienced as a holder on placement kicks, served as the the Bills' punter in 2021 and has since been on the rosters of the Indianapolis Colts (2022) and Cleveland Browns (2023).
