Cardinals All-Pro safety Budda Baker changes from No. 32 to No. 3

Budda Baker is making the switch.

The Arizona Cardinals safety announced Sunday that he would be changing from No. 32 to No. 3. He becomes one of the only veteran players with his current team to change numbers.

The NFL requires players who change numbers to buy the full inventory of unsold jerseys. It's unclear what price Baker will have to pay for switching numbers.

Many players wanted to change their number to the one they wore in college. But Baker wore No. 32 in college, so it's unclear why he's switching to No. 3.

The 25-year-old has spent the first four seasons of his career in Arizona and has also worn No. 36.  He's already been selected to three Pro Bowls and earned two First Team All-Pro honors.
