One stat that shows why Tom Brady is a massive upgrade over Jameis Winston

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers making an aggressive offer for the services of former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady turned out to work extremely well for them.

Brady signing a deal with the Bucs leaves Jameis Winston without a starting job in the NFL, and it wasn't a hard decision for Tampa Bay to choose the six-time Super Bowl champion over a QB who has underperformed nearly his entire career.

Winston threw 30 interceptions last season, while Brady has only thrown 27 in the past three years of his career.

That isn't the only stat that jumps out when comparing the two.

If Brady throws interceptions on his next 171 pass attempts, he'd still have a lower INT rate than Winston had in five seasons with the Buccaneers, according to Josh Dubow of the Associated Press. And that's not all.

There's obviously no comparison here. Brady is a six-time Super Bowl champion who has won a numerous amount of awards during his 20-year career with the Patriots. Winston is extremely unreliable, and Bucs coach Bruce Arians was essentially fed up with a quarterback who consistently turns the ball over.

If one thing's for sure, Buccaneers fans are in for a real treat when the Tom Brady experience begins in Florida.
