Analyst Predicts 'Bigger Role' For Bills' Keon Coleman In Year 2

The rookie season for Buffalo Bills receiver Keon Coleman didn't go the way he or the franchise would have wanted, with injury and poor form seeing the receiver not hit the heights expected.

But as we turn for training camp, Coleman is well aware of his shortcomings last season and is determined to bounce back in a big way.

With a Bills offense led by Josh Allen and having a number of weapons, many think it will be up to Keon to establish himself at the top of the offensive food chain. And for analyst Bucky Brooks, he sees Coleman having a bigger role in Joe Brady's offense in 2025.

“For Keon Coleman, being able to settle in and being a dominant receiver on the outside as Josh Allen becomes more comfortable with him and looks to push the ball down the field and lean into the things that he provides as a red zone weapon, a jump ball specialist,” Brooks said on One Bills Live.

“To me, I just envision Keon Coleman having a bigger role, having more production because as teams lean into trying to slow down Khalil Shakir and some of the other guys, Coleman is going to win those one-on-one matchups on the outside.”

Shakir is the go-to weapon for Allen as things stand, with Coleman, Curtis Samuel, and Joshua Palmer making up the receiver room, but none come across as a genuine No. 1 weapon right now.

Could that mean that Keon could develop into that guy? There's every chance.

He possesses all the tools to be Allen's go-to guy, but the trust and chemistry needed to be able to go to the second-year receiver need to be built, and when training camp begins, we will get a good idea of how Coleman is traveling.

With a bigger offensive role comes with bigger expectations. Can Keon live up to them?

Buffalo sure hopes so.
