The Cleveland Browns still don't know who their quarterback will be next season, and veteran free agent names continue to fall off the list.
One of those names - a familiar one - Joe Flacco, reportedly met with the Giants on Thursday, one day before meeting with Russell Wilson on Friday per ESPN's Field Yates.
Wilson and Flacco are both names associated with the Browns and their quarterback room for 2025. Wilson met with the Brown on Thursday but left the facility with out a deal.
Flacco spent last season with the Colts after leading the Browns to a postseason appearance in 2023.
There are several names associated with the Giants including Aaron Rodgers, who, along with Wilson, are considered to be New York's top two options. Tommy DeVito is the only signal caller under contract with the G-Men right now.
After Flacco's playoff run with Cleveland, he didn't play well in six starts for Indy but is still considered to be a viable option for a team looking for a veteran quarterback. Those teams include Cleveland, New York, Pittsburgh and others.
If the Browns select a quarterback in the upcoming NFL Draft, Flacco could also be an option either behind or in front of a rookie.
