Arizona Cardinals 7-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft: Kyler Murray gets a new weapon, and both lines get retooled

Heading into year three under head coach Jonathan Gannon, the Arizona Cardinals are in a crucial part of their rebuild. The roster has several foundational pieces, but other positions still need to be retooled. The 2025 NFL Draft offers a huge opportunity to fill those holes.

In a recent 7-round NFL mock draft, the Cardinals focused tremendously on the trenches. They also got quarterback Kyler Murray even more support. This is quite the haul for the present, and the future of the organization.

Round 1, Pick 16: Derrick Harmon, DT Oregon

The Cardinals need to get more dynamic on the defensive line. After beginning his career as a nose tackle for Michigan State, Harmon lost some weight and morphed into a dynamic defensive lineman for Oregon in 2024. He brings a lot of penetration upside at nearly 6-5 and 315 pounds.

Round 2, Pick 47: Aireontae Ersery, OL Minnesota

Ersery is a very intriguing addition to an offensive line room. He has played left tackle for the Golden Gophers, and could remain there due to his combination of length and patience. Ersery also has the requisite size and power to move inside to guard on the next level as well.

Round 3, Pick 78: Jalen Royals, WR Utah State

Royals is a versatile wide receiver that can bring a lot to a team. He is athletic and nuanced enough to play on the outside, but presents enough as a YAC threat to also work inside. You can use him everywhere.

Round 4, Pick 115: Cobee Bryant, CB Kansas

You can underrate Bryant due to his size if you’d like but he is just a really good football player. Bryant brings a tenacious style to the table that should allow him to play on the outside or in the nickel. He will be a future starter at one of those spots.

Round 5, Pick 152: Caleb Rogers, OL Texas Tech

Over the course of his Red Raiders career, Rogers played nearly every position. He projects best inside where his play style and athleticism can shine. At this point in the draft, finding a versatile swing player is never a bad thing.

Round 7, Pick 225: Kyle Monangai, RB Rutgers

Monangai isn’t a dynamic athlete, but he does a lot of the little things right. He runs with tremendous lower leg drive and contact balance. There also isn’t a better pass blocker in the class than Monangai.
