Arizona Cardinals Kyler Murray hosting charity softball game

 Kyler Murray is getting back on the diamond. The Arizona Cardinals quarterback was a sensational college baseball player, going top five in the MLB draft. The Pro-Bowler elected to play football and has found himself as the leader of the franchise in Arizona. Murray continues to add to his arsenal on the field, and now is adding a major event for his foundation. On Sunday, the Kyler Murray Foundation announced on Instagram that it will host a charity softball game at Salt River Fields on Saturday, May 17th.

NFL players and celebrities will compete for superiority at Salt River Fields. Cardinals James Conner, Trey McBride, and Marvin Harrison Jr. will all participate in the game. For those in attendance, there will be a Fan Zone filled with music, games, chess, and more. All the proceeds made at the event will be donated to local programs in underserved communities.

Cardinals Murray in a press release on the game:

“This game is about bringing the community together while supporting causes that matter,” Murray said. “I’m excited to share this experience with fans, friends and fellow athletes while making a positive impact in Arizona.”

The Kyler Murray Foundation is set to inspire and support the youth through educational resources and establishing a foundation to succeed in life. The game will be an entertaining time for those in attendance while helping the Arizona community in the future.
