GLENDALE – With the league-wide release of next year’s NFL schedule, the Arizona Cardinals are primed for a big year. With the 27th easiest schedule in the league, Arizona could make its first postseason since 2021. A good indicator of where the team is at will be the preseason. The three-game litmus test will show fans where the Cardinals are at and how the additions to the roster improve or hurt the roster.
The franchise just released the preseason schedule. It will face three AFC West opponents, two of which will be on NFL Network.
Before beginning its journey against the New Orleans Saints on Sept 7th, Arizona will test its new, shiny defense against two playoff teams from last year. Since it’s the preseason, the amount of first-string snaps from either the Broncos or Chiefs will be limited. Regardless, fans will be ecstatic to see the retooled front seven in action.
Pro Bowler like Josh Sweat will get his first taste of the Red Sea, while Calais Campbell makes his glorious return. Rookies like Walter Nolen and Will Johnson get their feet wet with NFL speed before being thrown in the water of the regular season. Both were projected top 15 picks in the NFL draft and join an elite Cardinals defense.
