The Atlanta Falcons signed Wide Receiver DJ Chark to a one-year contract on Friday. He did not make much of an impact last season with the Los Angeles Chargers. He had 4 catches for 31 yards and a touchdown. Chark’s career has included stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions, Caroline Panthers, and Los Angeles Chargers. How will he fare with the Falcons in 2025?
Veteran FA WR DJ Chark, who spent last year with the #Chargers, is signing with the #Falcons, per me and @MikeGarafolo. He gets a 1-year deal.

Chark joins an Atlanta Falcons offense bursting with talent. He will join a receiving corps that includes Drake London and Darnell Mooney. Tight End Kyle Pitts will also try to finally live up to expectations this season. Second-year Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. will have great weapons at his disposal as he looks to get off on the right foot with the team.
This is a low-risk move for the Atlanta Falcons. Even though Chark had a disappointing 2024, he has shown he can be a contributor to winning football. Atlanta will have playoff aspirations. Chark will look to be a piece of that puzzle.
