In the second quarter of your Los Angeles Chargers' eventual 16-9 loss against the Denver Broncos this Sunday, Bolts backup blocker Nick Niemann bungled a faux snap attempt during a fourth-and-one at his team's 44-yard line.

Niemann reflected on his role in his own team's defeat, per Jeff Miller of The Los Angeles Times.

“Honestly, I just dropped the ball,” Niemann conceded. “That’s on me. I was just looking to see where I could find a crease, and I bobbled it.”

He sure did.

The 6'3", 244-pound pro out of Iowa was selected with the No. 185 pick in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL draft. Through 16 games this season, the 26-year-old has recorded a career-most 37 tackles (20 solo, 17 assisted), one pass deflection and one stuff.
