Bam Knight News Emerges on Saturday

The Arizona Cardinals are 3-6 in the NFC and are looking forward to a rematch against the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday. Last time they met at Santa Clara, the scoreline wasn't so bad. Arizona lost 16-15.

Running back Bam Knight got injured during the third quarter of the Seattle Seahawks game and had to be taken out before the fourth quarter. Many fans debated whether the injury was serious. But going by Adam Schefter's words, there's nothing to worry about.

"Cardinals RB Bam Knight, listed as questionable for Sunday due to an ankle injury, is expected to play vs. the 49ers, per source," he posted on X.

Knight’s designation on the official injury report remains questionable. The team listed him with a limited practice status earlier in the week. That status kept his availability uncertain through Thursday and Friday.

Knights’ likely availability matters beyond a single snap. He has taken on an increased role while Arizona’s primary backs missed time. Over recent weeks, he has seen elevated touches and burst onto the field in key moments. That workload made him a near-regular part of the rotation.

If Knight plays, the team could still restrict his early snaps. If he is eased in, Emari Demercado and Michael Carter would be next in line to carry the load.
