George McCaskey's tenure as Chairmen of the Chicago Bears has not gone well.
During another lackluster effort, a 6-3 loss against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 17, things reached a boiling point. Fans inside Solider Field were clearly heard yelling, "Sell the Team," both during the game and on the post-game show.

McCaksey was asked directly about this during Tuesday's end-of-season press conference, and this is what he had to say about it.

Instead of taking responsibility for having presided over yet another unwatchable product, McCaskey shifted the blame to the fans. He states that he was more disappointed that Bears fans were selling their tickets and that opposing team fans were "taking over" Soldier Field.
Hey George, maybe instead of lecturing the fans on how THEY disappointed you, you should have said something along the lines of, "I heard it, and I understand why they are upset. We have not lived up to the standards that our fans expect, and that ultimately falls on me. We appreciate their dedication and loyalty as we work towards earning back their faith and making the Chicago Bears a champion-level franchise."
See, was that so hard? Also, maybe it would have been a better philosophy if he hadn't spoken at all.
