The Chicago Bears will look to keep their momentum going in Week 5 when they travel to Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers. With a divisional matchup on the schedule, Chicago will need contributions across the roster to compete against its NFC North rival.

Several Bears players could miss Sunday’s game as the team finalizes its inactive list. While the following names are projections rather than confirmed inactives, their potential absences could affect Chicago’s depth at linebacker, running back, quarterback, defensive line, and offensive line.

Here is a projection of the Week 5 inactives for the Bears:

How These Will Impact Bears in Week 5

QB Caleb Williams: Williams is the most notable name on the projected inactive list. His absence was already anticipated as Tyson Bagent is in line to start at quarterback against Green Bay, putting additional pressure on Chicago’s offense to execute efficiently in a challenging road environment.

RB Kyle Monangai: Monangai’s potential absence would affect Chicago’s running back rotation. The Bears would need to lean more heavily on their available backs to maintain a balanced offensive attack and keep the Packers’ defense from focusing too heavily on the passing game. Monangai was coming off of a monster performance in Week 4.

LB Keyshaun Elliott: Elliott’s absence would reduce Chicago’s depth at linebacker. The Bears would need their remaining linebackers to handle their assignments and maintain their responsibilities against Green Bay’s offense.

DL James Lynch and DL Jayden Loving: Both defensive linemen could be sidelined, potentially limiting Chicago’s rotation up front. The remaining defensive linemen would need to shoulder more of the workload while trying to pressure the quarterback and contain the Packers’ rushing attack.

OL Ozzy Trapilo: Trapilo’s projected absence could reduce Chicago’s offensive line depth. Keeping the quarterback upright and creating running lanes will be important against a divisional opponent, making the availability of the Bears’ remaining linemen worth monitoring.

Chicago’s final inactive list will confirm which players are unavailable for the Week 5 matchup. Until then, these projections offer a preview at the potential personnel challenges the Bears could face against Green Bay.
