The Chicago Bears have officially unveiled their full coaching roster for the 2025 season, marking a new era under the guidance of first-year head coach Ben Johnson. With a mix of new coordinators, retained veterans from the previous staff, and fresh faces, the Bears are setting the stage for what promises to be a transformative season.

"We are excited to add high-quality, hard-working coaches to our staff," Johnson expressed, highlighting his vision for growing the team and developing players collectively. His inaugural coaching staff consists of individuals who are "proud to represent the Chicago Bears and our fans."

Among the high-profile appointments are Dennis Allen as Defensive Coordinator and Declan Doyle taking the reins as Offensive Coordinator, both announced early in the offseason. The retention of Richard Hightower as Special Teams Coordinator ensures continuity in key areas of play.

The Bears coaching staff sees a blend of expertise with seasoned coaches like Eric Bieniemy overseeing the running backs and fresh talent like Matt Aponte bringing innovative ideas to the offensive quality control role. Notably, Antwaan Randle El, a Chicago native with a Super Bowl pedigree, joins as Assistant Head Coach/Wide Receivers, aiming to fortify the Bears' offensive arsenal.

Bieniemy's inclusion, following his successful tenure at UCLA and with the Kansas City Chiefs, brings a championship-winning mentality to the Bears, especially in the development of key offensive players. Similarly, defensive-minded Al Harris is set to bring his extensive playing and coaching experience to the role of Defensive Passing Game Coordinator/Defensive Backs.

With the NFL scouting combine on the horizon, followed by free agency and the draft, Johnson's staff is gearing up for a critical offseason. The collective experience and diverse skill set of the coaching roster bode well for addressing the team’s immediate needs while laying a foundation for long-term success.

Johnson summed up the mood in the camp, stating, "Along with a desire to grow our team and develop our players collectively, our coaching staff is comprised of individuals who are proud to represent the Chicago Bears and our fans. We look forward to the work ahead."
