It’s been a rough few weeks for the Minnesota Vikings, especially at quarterback. Nick Mullens got the nod for Saturday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals while Josh Dobbs moved down to the emergency backup quarterback.
A second-quarter interception by BJ Hill pretty much summed things up.
Hill was tackling Mullens for a sack, but Mullens still threw the ball. When he did, it hit Hill’s facemask and fell into his hands — giving him an interception. It was one of the weirdest plays of the season so far, and it was yet another rough moment for the Vikings’ offense.

Nonetheless, Minnesota still took a 7-3 lead into the halftime locker room after Ty Chandler scored in the first half.
