The Cincinnati Bengals wrapped up its final practice of the regular season, and potentially the entire year if a trip to the playoffs are not in the cards this weekend. A couple players will have to wait until Saturday before learning whether or not they'll be able to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Running back Chase Brown (ankle) and right tackle Amarius Mims (ankle/hand) will officially be game-time decisions according to head coach Zac Taylor, but tight end Drew Sample (groin) is good to go.

Brown missed practice all week as he's recovering from a high-ankle sprain that took him out of last Saturday's win over the Denver Broncos. He's at 990 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns on the season. In the last eight games, he's averaged 116.25 yards from scrimmage per game with six total touchdowns.

If Brown does not play, expect to see Khalil Herbert and Trayveon Williams share snaps at running back. Herbert was traded to Cincinnati in November and has carried the ball eight times in seven games for the Bengals. He posted four carries for 23 yards last week after Brown's injury. Williams has been with the team since 2019 but has yet to log a carry this season.

Mims suffered a broken right hand earlier this month and tried playing through it last week. He played 30 snaps before having to leave the game. Devin Cochran filled in for the rookie starter and will do so again this week if Mims can't go.

Sample has yet to miss a game in his sixth season with the Bengals. He has 16 receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown but the majority of his impact has always been as a blocker.

Wide receiver Tee Higgins (ankle/knee), wide receiver Charlie Jones (groin), and cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt (ankle) are also listed as questionable. It's expected that Higgins will play, but Jones hasn't played since Week 8 despite practicing for several weeks since and Taylor-Britt's ankle injury just popped up on Thursday's injury report. The Bengals are already down multiple cornerbacks and losing Taylor-Britt would likely leave Marco Wilson and DJ Ivey to play alongside rookie starter Josh Newton.

Left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. (fibula), quarterback Joe Burrow (right wrist/knee), tight end Tanner Hudson (knee), and defensive tackle Kris Jenkins Jr. (knee) were all full participants Thursday and will play.
