Preparations for Week 2 are well underway for the Cincinnati Bengals. Cincinnati's first injury report of the week is once again on the light side like it was a week ago, but there are a couple names to note.
The first player, and the only one to not go full on Wednesday, is perhaps the biggest human on the team.
Right tackle Amarius Mims (ankle) went limited Wednesday. The second-year starter did not miss any playing time in Week 1, and was also not listed on the Week 1 injury report. It's possible he got dinged during the game, or he suffered an injury during practice. His activity level on Thursday will be telling regarding his game status later on in the week.
Long snapper William Wagner (hamstring) is the only other player listed, but the rookie went full Wednesday. Wagner defeated Cal Adomitis in an offseason competition, and with Adomitis off the team, Cincinnati doesn't have a backup for Wagner on the practice squad. Tight end Tanner Hudson is the emergency backup on the roster.
Here are the injuries the Jacksonville Jaguars are dealing with at the start of their week of practice:
Jacksonville also has its concerns centered around the offensive line room as OL Wyatt Milum (knee) did not practice. Milum was inactive for Week 1 with the same injury.
Backup Cole Van Lanen (shoulder) was also inactive, but practiced in full Wednesday. Starting right tackle Anton Harrison (back) was also a full participant. The former first-round pick missed six snaps in Week 1, but not missing any practice time to start the week is a good sign for him to play this weekend.
Cornerback Montaric Brown (ankle) was a limited participant. He was also a Week 1 inactive due to injury.
