Best NFL Bets for Week 11: Our Experts' Favorite NFL Picks Against the Spread
Mark Hoffman-USA TODAY Network via Imagn Images

After a 2-0 start to the season — when NFL media were starting to talk Super Bowl — the Green Bay Packers have been a major disappointment to their fans. And to bettors. The Packers have gone from 2-0 to 6-3-1. And while they are a mediocre 4-3-1 straight up in their last eight games, they are an abysmal 1-7 against the spread in those games.

The smallest market in the NFL has one of the biggest national fanbases, so Green Bay’s current struggles have caused quite a stir in NFL media circles. What’s wrong with Jordan Love? Is head coach Matt LaFleur on the hot seat? Did the Packers make a mistake trading for Micah Parsons?

The Packers carry a two-game losing streak into their Week 11 road game against the lowly New York Giants, who just fired head coach Brian Daboll and will be without spark-plug rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart for this game. On paper, it’s a perfect “get-right” game for the Packers.

But remember: After a Week 3 upset loss to the Cleveland Browns, everyone thought the Packers would take out their frustrations with a Week 4 matchup against the struggling Dallas Cowboys. They were 6.5-point favorites in Dallas, yet the game ended in a tie.

Green Bay is a 7-point favorite against the G-Men. Will they turn things around and put a beating on New York? Three of Athlon Sports’ five NFL writers have the Pack as a best bet this week. Recent history, however, is not on their side.

Road favorites update: Road favorites were 3-1 against the spread in Week 10, boosting the season record to 35-19-1. We’ve got seven more road favorites this week — including the aforementioned Packers in New York.

Monday Night Hangover Update: With the Arizona Cardinals blowout loss to the Seattle Seahawks last week, the Monday Night Hangover continues to be a trend worth watching: The Monday night winner is now 3-7-1 against the spread the following week. After the Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 10 Monday night win, they are 1.5-point favorites at home vs. the Detroit Lions on Sunday night.
