Bill Belichick has made the sneakers he wore as part of the NFL’s “My Cause, My Cleats” initiative in Week 13 available for auction.

For “My Cause, My Cleats,” the New England Patriots head coach opted to represent his Bill Belichick Foundation, which aspires to “provide coaching, mentorship, and financial support to individuals, communities, and organizations,” per the organization’s website.

According to the foundation, Belichick will wear the sneakers up for auction at least one more time for a game against the New York Jets on Jan. 3.

That’s not the only news this week about Belichick’s foundation. The charity will donate $440,000 in grants and scholarships to athletes and programs across the country, according to TMZ Sports.

Belichick’s cleats, worn during the Patriots’ 45-0 throttling of the Los Angeles Chargers on Dec. 6, currently can be bid upon on the NFL Auction site and will be autographed and personalized for the winner. The current high bid as of Thursday afternoon is $2,850, and the auction closes on Jan. 21 (or later).

All proceeds from the auction will go to the aforementioned Bill Belichick Foundation’s scholarship and grant programs.
