The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for a showdown against the New Orleans Saints in Week 4. Buffalo remains undefeated on the season, while the Saints are looking for their first victory of 2025. Bills Mafia is going to be out in full force as the farewell to Highmark Stadium tour continues.

As is the case with the practice squad, there are a lot of moving pieces, and neither the initial 53-man roster nor the practice squad will look the same from the start of the season to the end. Ahead of the contest, Buffalo released cornerback Jalen Kimber and signed linebacker Otis Reese IV.

Sal Capaccio, Bills reporter for WGR 550, shared the news on X, formerly Twitter.

The move comes a day after the team brought on offensive lineman Nick Broeker, who was a former seventh-round pick from the Bills in 2023.

For Broeker, it was some key depth at the position as Buffalo only had offensive linemen Travis Clayton and Kendrick Green on its practice squad.

Welcome to Buffalo, Otis Reese IV

Head coach Sean McDermott loves versatile players, and that's exactly what the team found in Reese. He spent time on the Titans' practice squad before earning a promotion to the active roster.

According to Pro Football Focus, in two seasons with the Titans, Reese was on the field for a total of 178 defensive snaps (89 in rush defense, 14 in pass rush, and 75 dropping back in coverage).

However, it's his work on special teams that could hold the most value. He nearly doubled his total snap count, appearing in 347 snaps (97 kick return, 79 kick coverage, 73 punt return, 80 punt coverage, and 18 in field goal block), earning him a 76.3 grade in 2023 and 72.4 in 2024.

Reese totaled one interception, 38 combined tackles, with one tackle for loss and two quarterback hits throughout his short NFL career. In August 2025, he was waived as part of the Titans' roster cuts and found a new home in Western New York.

With Buffalo valuing versatility and special teams reliability, Reese could carve out a role as the season unfolds.
