Bills expected to hire former Panthers OC Joe Brady as QBs coach

The Buffalo Bills are moving quickly to fill their void at the quarterbacks coach position after Ken Dorsey was recently promoted to offensive coordinator.

Less than an hour before Rapoport broke the news regarding Brady and the Bills, it was reported that Buffalo would be losing assistant quarterbacks coach Shea Tierney to the New York Giants.

Brady's coaching career started with two years as the linebackers coach at William & Mary in 2013 and 2014. The 34-year-old served as a graduate assistant for Penn State in 2015 and 2016 before joining the NFL ranks in 2017.

Brady was an offensive assistant with the New Orleans Saints for the next two seasons and returned to college football for a season at LSU as their passing game coordinator/wide receivers coach in 2019. The Pembroke Pines, Florida native worked under head coach Matt Rhule as the Carolina Panthers' offensive coordinator in 2020 and 2021.
