Joey Bosa’s big year with the Buffalo Bills may have hit a road bump on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The five-time Pro Bowl defensive end, who entered Sunday’s Week 13 matchup with 4.0 sacks, 24 combined tackles (14 solo), seven tackles for loss, 14 quarterback hits and a league-best four forced fumbles, was forced to exit the Steelers game in the second half due to a hamstring injury.

The Bills, who were able to secure a 26-7 win over Aaron Rodgers and Co., took to social media shortly after Bosa’s exit to make an announcement about their star DE.

Josh Allen led the charge for Buffalo in Sunday’s win. The reigning NFL MVP, who was involved in a contentious incident with Steelers star Cam Heyward in the third quarter, finished the game with 15-of-23 completed passes for 123 yards, one touchdown and one interception. It was not an MVP-caliber performance for the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback, but it was enough to lift Buffalo to victory.

The Bills, however, may have cause for concern on the Bosa end. The former Defensive Rookie of the Year, who signed a one-year, $12.6 million deal with Buffalo in the offseason, could potentially miss time after sustaining a hamstring injury in Sunday’s win.

After Bosa left the game, the team announced that his status for the remainder of the contest was uncertain.

“Injury Update: Joey Bosa (hamstring) is QUESTIONABLE to return,” Buffalo Bills PR posted on X.

The Bills should provide an update on Bosa after the win, which should determine his status moving forward. After Sunday’s win, Buffalo’s next game will be next Sunday, Dec. 7, against Joe Burrow and the 4-8 Cincinnati Bengals. At this point, Bosa’s status for that one can be considered up in the air.

The Bills improved to 8-4 after defeating the Steelers. They remain second in the AFC East behind the 10-2 New England Patriots, who have won nine in a row.
