The Buffalo Bills are heading into the AFC Championship Game, set to face the Kansas City Chiefs, where the winner will punch their ticket to Super Bowl LIX.

Buffalo heads into the game having defeated the Denver Broncos in the Wild Card Round and Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional Round.

As the Bills prepare to face the Chiefs, entering the game as a 2-point underdog, per ESPN BET, they decided to make a quarterback move.

Per NFL reporter Aaron Wilson, the Bills released quarterback Anthony Brown, who was signed to the team's practice squad on Jan. 15.

Buffalo currently has Josh Allen and Mitchell Trubisky in their quarterback room.

Brown has played two games in his career. While being rostered on the Baltimore Ravens in 2022, Brown saw the field twice, posting 302 yards and two interceptions, completing 44.9% of his pass attempts.

He's been on the practice squads of the Las Vegas Raiders (2024) and Arizona Cardinals (2024).

The 6-foot-1 quarterback was originally an undrafted prospect in 2022. Brown played for the Boston College Eagles (2016 to 2019) and the Oregon Ducks (2020 to 2021) during his collegiate career.

In his five-year college career, Brown recorded 60 touchdowns and 7,891 yards with a 58.4 completion percentage. He also added 15 touchdowns and 1,121 yards on the ground.
