Bills Rookie Compares Himself to Pro Bowl Veteran
Petre Thomas-USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Bills had a very solid 2025 NFL Draft class that included six defensive players and three offensive players.

While they selected a couple players ahead of him, one of the team's most intriguing picks is former Arkansas Razorback edge rusher Landon Jackson.

The team drafted him with the 72nd overall pick in the third round, which could be considered one of the steals of the draft. In an interview with team reporter Maddy Glab, Jackson made a bold claim and compared himself to one of the best defensive players in the NFL.

"One guy is Maxx Crosby," Jackson said. "He's a dog. He's a high motor player. He knows how to fly around in the pass game and get after the quarterback, and then in the run game he knows how to set an edge and be a dominant defensive end.

Crosby was also not the highest pick, as he was taken by the Las Vegas Raiders in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. As a result, he went into his rookie season looking to prove he was a steal, and he did exactly that with 10 sacks.

Jackson will be hoping to do the same thing and prove that all of the teams that passed on him made a mistake. He racked up 6.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss in his final season at Arkansas, showing that he can get stop the run as well as get to the quarterback.

If he is anything like Crosby like he says he is, then Jackson could prove that he was one of the steals of this year's draft.
