Boomer Esiason does not seem crushed about former co-host Craig Carton losing his FS1 show.
Carton’s “Breakfast Ball” show was one of several shows canceled by FS1 this week, with Carton and the network headed for a breakup. That sparked rumors that Carton could return to WFAN in New York, where he has been a longtime host.
Esiason, now the host of WFAN’s “Boomer & Gio,” did not seem to be buying it.
“That show got canceled again?” Esiason said in reference to Carton’s FS1 exit.

Esiason and Carton co-hosted “Boomer and Carton” together from 2007 to 2017, first on WFAN and later on CBS Sports Network. That arrangement ended when Carton went to prison for his part in a Ponzi scheme. Esiason perhaps still holds some ill will over how that ended.
Carton did return to WFAN after he was released from prison. That may well be his landing spot once again now that FS1 is set to cut ties with him.
