Brittany Mahomes shares heartfelt reaction to Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift engagement

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are engaged! Swift posted the engagement announcement on her Instagram on Tuesday afternoon, which also happened to be roster cutdown day, and the world was immediately buzzing with the news.

That included the NFL world, which was to be expected after Swift started dating Kelce in 2023. She became a big part of the league (whether she wanted to or not) due to her relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. Swift's presence at Chiefs games became nationwide news and so did her eventual friendship with Brittany Mahomes, who, of course, is married to quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes and Swift's friendship was captured on television whenever the Chiefs were playing as the two would be seen high-fiving one another or even dancing together after big plays or touchdowns. Truly what dreams are made of.

It's no surprise to see Mahomes reacting to the engagement news, doing so on her Instagram story shortly after the announcement went public. She reposted the engagement photo with the caption "Two of the most genuine people meet & fall in love. Just so happy for these two" with an "aww" emoji and white heart emoji.

Since Kelce and Swift's relationship went public, they've been seen on countless outings with the Mahomeses, including the US Open and on a beach trip together. Clearly, the four are quite close so it's not the least bit surprising to see Brittany reacting to the news of the engagement.

Her message was also heartfelt and probably reflects the way Chiefs fans feel about the news as well. You don't have to be fans of Swift and/or Kelce but how can you not be a fan of love? Congrats again to Travis and Taylor!
