Broncos announce hiring of DC Ejiro Evero, two others

One day after they named Tyrone Wheatley as their newest running backs coach , the Denver Broncos made a trio of more hires official on Thursday.

According to Broncos team reporter Aric DiLalla, Evero and Stukes are the final two coordinator hirings on new head coach Nathaniel Hackett's staff.

Evero spent the past five seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, the first four as the team's safeties coach and the 2021 campaign as their secondary/pass game coordinator. Prior to that, the 41-year-old was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for three years as their defensive quality control coach, held various titles with the San Francisco 49ers from 2011 to 2015 and was the Green Bay Packers' defensive quality control coach in 2016.

Stukes had numerous coaching roles with the Bucs from 2006 to 2011, before serving as the Chicago Bears assistant special teams coach in 2013 and 2014. Stukes was then the New York Giants' assistant special teams coach in 2016 and 2017, a defensive assistant with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019 and 2020, and the Rams' assistant special teams coach in 2021.

Dixon was the assistant defensive line coach for Los Angeles last season.
