With needs at nearly every offensive skill position, the Denver Broncos have plenty of options in each round of the 2025 NFL Draft. In a new mock draft, the Broncos get a steal in the late third.
In the latest Athlon Sports mock draft by Luke Easterling, the Broncos select Stanford wide receiver Elic Ayomanor in the third round at pick 85. Ayomanor is widely regarded as one of the top receivers in the draft class and has been commonly mocked in the second round.
Denver landing Ayomanor in round three, while also adding Omarion Hampton and Elijah Arroyo like they do in this mock draft, would be a massive haul for the Broncos' offense.
According to Pro Football Focus, Ayomanor is the fifth-ranked wide receiver, is ranked 35th overall on the big board, and is often mocked by the New England Patriots at the top of the second round.
The Canadian-born prospect is coming off a productive season. In 2024, Ayomanor had 831 receiving yards, six receiving touchdowns, and 63 receptions on 109 targets. He typically lines up outside, and would play opposite of Courtland Sutton for the Broncos offense.
His draft stock has fallen, as his 2024 was less efficient than his 2023. Ayomanor had the same amount of receptions and touchdowns as he did in 2024. But in 2023, Ayomanor had 1,022 yards, 191 yards more than his 2024 season.
The downtrend in 2024 has been a major reason why his stock has been falling, but his availability in the third round for Denver would be a massive spot to add a top perimeter wide receiver.
In the latest Athlon Sports mock draft, Denver adds Ayomanor in the third round at pick 85. It would be a huge draft steal in the third round, as many believe Ayomanor to be an early second round pick.
The 2025 NFL Draft starts on Thursday, April 24th, with day two of the NFL Draft falling on Friday, April 25th.
