The Denver Broncos have officially ruled out tight end Lucas Krull for the Week 5 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

As Mike Klis from 9News reported, Krull suffered a cracked bone in his foot. While he was able to finish practice on Thursday, the pain increased later. It's been reported that Krull will be placed on injured reserve on Saturday, sidelining him for at least the next four games.

Look for the team to, once again, elevate inside linebacker Garrett Wallow to the active roster. Wallow has been called up twice already on game day, and with Krull's designation, a 48-man active spot will open, as well as a 53-man roster spot if the front office wants to promote him.

Regardless, even if it isn't Wallow, there are moves to be made within the practice squad. Denver has plenty of options across the board to choose from for the extra spot, once Krull goes on injured reserve. The Broncos could promote one player and elevate up to two for gameday, and these two would revert back to the PS after the game.

Here's how the current practice squad is shaking out for the Broncos.

Broncos looking healthy for Week 5

Denver is exactly where you want to be heading into a game against the reigning Super Bowl champs, on their turf. Everyone on both sides of the football practiced in full capacity, and it seems like a go for the upcoming game.

Head coach Sean Payton said that All-Pro offensive lineman Quinn Meinerz would be fine after being unable to practice on Thursday, but was able to return on Friday.

Tight end Nate Adkins progressed well enough through the concussion protocol to get back on the field in full capacity. Outside linebacker Jonah Elliss and wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. were back in the action in full capacity after being limited on Thursday.

Quarterback Bo Nix and the offense have their full slate of weapons, and the defense has everyone needed in hopes of pulling off the upset.
