Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos earned their second straight win in Week 5, improving to 3-2 on the 2025 NFL season after defeating Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles 21-17. Nix played a key role in the Broncos’ come-from-behind victory, completing 24 of 39 passes for 242 yards and one touchdown while adding 22 rushing yards. He also led Denver on three scoring drives in the fourth quarter to seal the four-point win.

Nix has spent his two-year NFL career alongside his wife, Izzy Nix. The couple met while attending the University of Auburn, before getting engaged in September 2021 and married the following July, shortly after Izzy graduated with a degree in exercise science. When Bo transferred to Oregon for the 2022 and 2023 college football seasons, Izzy joined him in Eugene. Then, after the 2024 NFL Draft, the couple made their way to Denver

“When Bo and I got married back in 2022, we moved across the country to Oregon and left all of our wedding gifts unopened in Alabama,” Izzy told Mestiza New York in 2024. “I am so excited to finally open them up and make a house a home in Denver.”

On Friday, ahead of the Broncos’ Week 6 matchup against the New York Jets in London, Bo and Izzy Nix shared exciting news, announcing their family of two has become a family of three.

"Nix party of 3!!!," Bo and Izzy Nix wrote on Instagram. “'Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.' Jeremiah‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬"

Bo and Izzy Nix's journey from college sweethearts to soon-to-be parents has been defined by similar determination, as Izzy grew up playing multiple sports as well, and even worked as a fitness coach after college.

“Bo and I are equally competitive and ambitious,” Izzy commented. “We both grew up playing multiple sports and were taught to never back down from a challenge. We push each other towards our goals and to be better versions of ourselves daily.”

Nix and the Broncos will face the Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. ET.
