The Cleveland Browns have a lot on their offseason plate, not the least of which is what to do at quarterback. After Deshaun Watson's second Achilles injury in three months back in January, it's likely he'll miss all of the 2025 season.
It's also likely he's played his last down of football in a Browns uniform.
But Watson isn't the only issue on the team this offseason. Star defender Myles Garrett has demanded a trade "to a contender" while the Browns maintain they won't be dealing him.
Aside from those two situations, the Browns offseason is pretty much the same as every year in Cleveland - for whatever that's worth.
But there are other players who will garner attention this summer, and one seems to be a priority for one writer.
Candace Pedraza of Dawg Pound Daily wrote the Browns must keep linebacker Devin Bush.
"Cleveland should be doing everything they can to make the money work to keep Bush," Pedraza wrote. "He'd be a veteran presence in the locker room for the defense if Myles Garrett gets traded this offseason, and he is a reliable starter in place of [Jeremiah] Owusu-Koramoah."
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah might not see the field anytime soon due to a neck injury, and with him out, Bush seems like the best replacement.
Coming off a 2024 that saw 76 tackles with 45 solo and eight for loss, Bush also tallied a sack, three passes defended and a quarterback hit across 16 games.
While he might never be a superstar in the league, he adds quality depth. And on a roster that frequently experiences injuries, he might be the most reliable player available.
