The Cleveland Browns battled through snowy conditions and a dramatic fourth quarter to claim a 24-19 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers at Huntington Bank Field.
Cleveland’s defense and clutch offensive moments defined the contest, helping the Browns withstand a late Steelers rally.
Nick Chubb’s fourth-quarter touchdown served as the game’s decisive moment, capping a drive that highlighted Cleveland’s ability to capitalize on short-yardage situations.
The Browns converted all four of their fourth-down attempts, demonstrating their offensive tenacity in key situations. On defense, timely stops and pressure kept Pittsburgh from reclaiming the lead.
Cleveland’s Jameis Winston delivered a solid performance, completing 18 of 27 passes for 219 yards despite one interception. Winston’s ability to extend plays outside the pocket contributed to his league-leading streak of back-to-back games with over 100 yards passing from outside the pocket.
His counterpart, Russell Wilson, displayed his deep-ball prowess with 270 passing yards and a touchdown, including 135 yards on throws exceeding 20 air yards. However, turnovers and failed conversions ultimately stalled Pittsburgh’s comeback efforts.
Postgame, Winston provided an animated recount of the game’s final moments, quickly going viral.
“It really was amazing. I was just praying on the sideline because the fourth quarter, it was a whole paradigm shift,” Winston said. “We were playing so well offensively, and then BANG BANG, back-to-back drives were turnovers. I was just like, ‘Oh my gosh.’ This was really an NFL Films moment.
"The snow starts pouring down. I felt like my feet started getting heavy because I’m squishing through the snow. Man, it was so good, and it was so great to end up getting that win.”
