As noted on social media throughout the morning, Friday is also Beckham Jr.'s 29th birthday.
After being selected with the 12th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, "OBJ" put together a mostly stellar five-year career with the New York Giants, winning the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award in 2014 and earning Pro Bowl nods in each of his first three seasons. Across his 59 career regular-season games with New York, the wide receiver 390 receptions for 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns.
OBJ was traded to the Browns on March 13, 2019 for Jabril Peppers, as well as a 2019 first- and third-round pick. Beckham Jr. ends his Cleveland career with 114 receptions, 1,586 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in 29 games.
Beckham will be subject to waivers. Other teams have until 4 pm ET on Monday if they want to submit a claim for him. If no one does, he will be a free agent at that time.

OBJ won't be playing with any team in Week 9, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see plenty interest in the uber-athletic wideout for the second half of the season.
