Browns' playoff hopes not dead in the water just yet

A week ago, the Browns chances to make the playoffs were 0.4%. After Cleveland's Week 15 win over the Ravens, their chances have almost doubled.

The Browns (6-8) now have a 0.7% chance to make the playoffs, per ESPN's Jake Trotter. In what still feels like a far-fetched dream, the hopes of Cleveland fans are growing.

So, you're saying there's a chance?

Yes, there is a road to the postseason for the Browns. However, that road is still a difficult and unlikely one.

First of all, the Browns would need to win out.

Cleveland's final three opponents in the regular season are the Saints (5-9), Commanders (7-6-1), and Steelers (6-8). All are winnable games for the Browns, but they will still need to get some outside help as well.

Between the Ravens and Chargers, it's probably more likely the Ravens lose out with QB Lamar Jackson still working through his injury.

The Jaguars could lose to the Jets (7-7) or Titans (7-7) on their schedule as each are fighting for a playoff spot down the stretch.

It is also possible the Jets and Patriots could drop two games. The Jets are set to play the Jaguars (6-8), Seahawks (7-7), and Dolphins (8-6) while the Patriots will take on the Bengals (10-4), Dolphins, and Bills (11-3).

All of these scenarios are a big 'what if,' but for those who are writing off the Browns, I wouldn't quite yet.
