Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and TE Travis Kelce have a connection like no other. But Browns TE David Njoku thinks he and QB Deshaun Watson can replicate that connection.
"All of the kudos to them, Patrick and Trav," Njoku told reporters. "I think we can do similar things to that as well. It's only a matter of time. I'm excited."

Actions speak louder than words, and that's a company that brings very high expectations.
Mahomes and Kelce have connected 91 times this season for 1,144 yards, the most between any quarterback-tight end duo. Although Njoku is on pace for a career year, the sixth-year tight end has just 551 receiving yards, per StatMuse.com.
Cleveland's Week 16 matchup with the Saints will only be Watson's fourth game back since his suspension. Time will only tell how the two can grow together with a full offseason under their belts.
"We keep progressing every week," Njoku added. "We're not even scratching the surface of what we could be."

We probably won't see the full potential of the Browns' offense until 2023, but maybe they'll show flashes through the final three weeks of the regular season.
Njoku isn't just excited about his connection with Watson, but the entire offense as a whole.
"We have so much talent that hasn't been utilized yet. I think there's so much more we can do," Njoku finished.
